Laura Rivera has worked in Human Resources Consulting and Management for over 15 years. With a knack for putting out fires, helping leaders / employees with goal setting and attainment, and just being the go-to person that people wanted to talk to about their problems, she has always wanted to do something where she can combine her professional and life experiences and take it to the next level. However, was not sure what that next level was. 

 

Even with many successes in her life and being able to accomplish many life goals, Laura still had a hunger and thirst that could not be fulfilled no matter what she did.  She realized she was missing balance in her life. It was all about career. Not realizing her YOLO lifestyle was affecting her family and disguising itself as happiness. After her world spiraled out of control,  Laura left the Corporate World and decided to connect and focus on her Christian beliefs. In her spiritual journey and through meditation and prayer, she was able to find the balance, happiness and her purpose in life. She was no longer hungry or thirsty. 

 

After starting her spiritual journey, she wanted to help others find their purpose and true happiness. Not the happiness this world says we should have, but the happiness we are meant to have.  Laura returned back to school for a Masters in Counseling with emphasis on Family and Marriage Counseling, which enables her to work with everyone.  She started to work with her friends, family, and church community members as a coach to start her journey.   She also became a Youth Leader with Young Life, where she connects with adolescents and walks alongside them through their journey. 

 

Laura has been married for 15 years and has a 11 year old son.

 

She is now the Owner and Transformation Coach for Self Dynamics LLC. The above story is Laura's story and each one of you has your own story. As a dedicated coach, Laura is focused on helping you find your true happiness, true self and true purpose.   Though Laura has Christian values and beliefs, she works with everyone from all different faith backgrounds and cultures.  The goal is to help you take those values, your current story and help you find your balance in any area(s) you wish.
